Cloud City

In 2005 we created the special FriendsWithYou Cloud City installation for the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Miami. This installation mixed play, performance, and ritual in a full-sensory environment called Cloud City. FriendsWithYou’s guide and spiritual advisor, "The Boy”, led visitors in a fantasy ritual where they awakened their inner creative and vibrant spirit as they slid down slides, jumped onto giant rolling toys, and bounced huge inflatable Gods.
Cloud City featured large fiberglass sculptures as slides, large foam characters on wheels, giant inflatables, and FriendsWithYou’s own Sam and Tury dressed in “The Boy” character costumes playing with all visitors.
