FWY goes Down Under

In our exhibition, “THING – beware the material world,” at the Art Gallery of Western Australia we approached the space with two large inflatable sculptures to add a living energy to the environment. Rising Spirit is a large inflatable sculpture that comes out of the ground and stands a full 19' feet high. Depicting the transition of a spirit, whether it is coming from a living thing or an exploding object, the Rising Spirit
is always present between the cycles of all living and non-living things.The Phantom is a bounding 15' feet in diameter. This inflatable sculpture has the power to be at all places at the same time. He challenges time and space and can never be contained. This exhibition took place April 2009.
