The Phantom

FriendsWithYou is exhibiting one of their most iconic and powerful inflatable sculptures, The Phantom! The Phantom is a bounding 15 feet in diameter, and it is now showing at the Melin Building, hanging from the middle atrium. Thanks to Craig Robins, president of Dacra, developer of the Design District Miami, and avid collector and supporter of the arts, FWY is able to share this sculpture with the neighborhood! This inflatable has the power to be at all places at the same time. He challenges time and space and can never be contained. The Phantom was exhibited at the Art Gallery of Western Australia in April 2009 for the FriendsWithYou solo art show, entitled “THING – beware the material world.” Now, he is floating in mid air above Michelle Bernstein’s new restaurant and café, Crumb on Parchment.
