WCT Festival takes over Toronto!

The Wish Come True Festival update!
The first week of the Wish Come True Festival was magical and it’s only getting better!! The festivities kicked off Thursday, June 10th, with the opening of Day Dreamers, a solo exhibition of artists Samuel Borkson and Arturo Sandoval III’s rarely seen fine art flat works and sculptural pieces. On exhibition until July 4th this is a special opportunity to get a glimpse into the emotion of FriendsWithYou and explore the creation of their characters and dreams. Following the opening, on Saturday, June 12, Magic Pony opened their doors for a very special FriendsWithYou pop-up shop and artist signing showcasing Limited Edition Wish Come True merchandise including apparel, tote bags, fine art prints, toys and accessories. The pop-up shop will be on display through July 4th weekend. Come see the magic and get these great products while you have the chance!
Rainbow City Opening Ceremony!
The time has finally arrived! As the highlight of the Wish Come True festival, Queen’s Park will be transformed into a world of Magic, Luck, and Friendship with our largest and most impressive installation to date! Rainbow City opens Tuesday, June 15, at 7:00pm with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with an exclusive introduction by the artists. Come and share this special occasion with FriendsWithYou, be the first to experience the life-size installation, and get insight from the artists on the ideas behind the magic. This special preview will take place in Queens Park, Tuesday June 15th at 7:00pm sharp.
Rainbow King
Be on the look out for the Rainbow King! As the mascot of the Luminato Festival, catch him on one of his many adventures as he spreads a message of Magic, Luck and Friendship throughout Toronto! Spotted at the opening bell of the Toronto Stock Market, at Yonge-Dundas Square and Union Station you’ll just never know where and when he’ll pop-up!! Scour the city and try to find the Rainbow King and be sure take pictures and video and help us spread the magic!!

In Yonge-Dundas Square Luminato will play on every hour the brand new, never before seen, Wish Come True animation, A Star Is Born!! This 3D FriendsWithYou masterpiece is ready to send your mind into another dimension and cover you in a blanket of happiness.
Starburst, Inflatable Lobby Sculpture
While in the area, head over to the Bay Adalay Center (333 Bay Street) and check-out Starburst, our HUGE levitating inflatable sculpture. You will leave charged up with the super powers of life. On display through June.
Secret Garden, Indoor Installation
Not far from Starburst, in The Wintergarden Lobby (225 King Street West), you will find Secret Garden, a mix of magical fungi and spirits entering the earth's atmosphere from the heavens. Come be blessed by the power of this celestial arrival. On display through June.
